I’m always looking for unique artwork for my interior design projects. Of course, it’s great to have art pieces that coordinate well with your space and are beautiful to look at. But, it’s even better when the art has a story to tell or some personal meaning behind it. So, naturally, I was really excited to come across artwork that offered all of those things…with BevShots! Simply put, BevShots are photographs of alcohol under a microscope. The alcohol is first crystallized on a slide and then photographed under a polarized light microscope. The different colors and compositions of each piece is the naturally occurring result of this process. Now, that is cool! They have many different drinks to choose from. Anything from mixed drinks, wines and beers to vodka. There are even a few non-alcoholic drink choices for the ‘designated designers’ 😉
So, what do you think of BevShots? Do you want to find out what your favorite drink looks like under a microscope? Check out the BevShots website and browse their selections. I’ve been inspired to create a series of paint palettes to coordinate with the BevShot pieces. Check back soon to find suggested paint colors for your favorite piece.
