A PALE GRAY INTERIOR WITH GOLD AND PINK ACCENTS

interior mood board with pink and gold accents

On Monday, we looked at the Taste of Pink color palette with it’s subtle hints of gold and pink. Well, today’s look is my interior design interpretation of that palette. This design is all about brightness with it’s fresh white primary color and palest of gray shadows. I worked the cream accents in with a cozy upholstered chair (which I love!). The gold can be found in a glitzy throw blanket and a tiny accent in the wallpaper pattern. And, the pink is even more subtle, only showing up in the leaves of the wallpaper. Of course, I wanted to include the clear glass element and this pendant light seemed perfect for that. A pale gray ivory rug and white pedestal side table reinforce the primarily white and gray color palette. This is a pretty one folks!

These are the pieces I used to create this gold and pink patterned mood board…

To keep this look soft, remember to use the gold and pink accents sparingly. Make the majority of your surfaces white and pale gray. Then, pop some accent pieces in cream, golden brown, hot pink, blush pink and light gold.
