Pantone announced Ultra Violet as their 2018 Color of the Year yesterday. It’s a gorgeous dark purple color that’s definitely a show stopper. When I’m looking for a bold accent, that would be one I would reach for. But, for neutral tones, I’m going to go with Pantone Coconut Milk. It’s a delicate ivory color that’s perfect for off white lover’s. In fact, I think this would make a great primary color in a design to show off Ultra Violet accents.
So, how do you work this creamy off-white hue into your home? These are the pieces I used to create the mood board above. They would be a great place to start…
Or, you could select one of these decor pieces from my Pantone Coconut Milk product roundup. My favorite? The Bouck Wingback Chair. It’s just gorgeous!
