So, now I have a new addition to my bucket list. I was introduced to the Blue Lagoon Iceland by Abi of These Four Walls blog and now I MUST go there!!! Abi captured this photograph of the Lagoon during her trip to Iceland this winter (lucky duck!). I love the gorgeous blue/bronze color palette in this image. Of course, I was inspired to create an interior idea board based on this color combo. Here’s what I have in mind for this look…
The foundation of this design is a blend of cloudy white and sky blue glass tiles. Contrast these with a dark Acacia hardwood as accents. Continue this dark bronze accent color into the furniture pieces (Some industrial-look pieces would fit in perfectly here). Introduce pewter metal into the space with the light fixtures. Clear, ribbed glass is a great material to pair with the pewter. Finish things off with powder blue throw pillows and blankets. Now, all that’s left is to kick back and enjoy your ‘Blue Lagoon’ oasis. Enjoy!

The color palette for this look is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a blend of spa colors that would also work great in coastal style interiors. The combination of light blue, pale gray, cool blue, sky blue, cool gray, warm black and bright white are just heavenly to my eyes. This paint palette will definitely give you those Icelandic vibes! (if you would like to get the paint colors that coordinate with this palette, you can purchase them from my Etsy shop here).
Do you find The Blue Lagoon as inspiring as I do? What would you create with this color palette? Happy Designing!
