Anybody else a huge fan of red bandanas? These are a timeless classic that I can’t seem to get enough of. The bright red color makes it practically irresistible to me. But, then add in the white lace-like details and I’m sold! This look is a companion to the Red Bandana color palettes post I showed you yesterday. So, I thought about how that palette could translate into an interior design. Here’s what I came up with.
The red bandana has such a strong connection to country style. So, I wanted to add in some modern pieces to create more of a modern country living room (You know me, I’m an eclectic kind of girl) I started with a modern gray sofa which works perfectly to pop this amazing red bandana throw pillow I found. Then, I added a navy blue twisted rope pouf to put your feet up. Some industrial style pieces seemed appropriate,. So I went with a white barn pendant for the lighting. Now, all we need is the flooring. A layered look seems like a good choice here. Let’s go with a teal gray and natural basketweave rug combo and this living room is complete.
These are the pieces I used to create the Modern Country Living Room with Red Bandana Accents…
Of course, I have to show you the inspiration image for this look. The horseshoe detail and red bandana napkin are such a clever idea for this table setting.
The greys, blacks, beige and red of this paint palette really come together nicely.
