Do you like custom furniture pieces with a great story to tell? I sure do! How about eco-friendly pieces from reclaimed materials? Even better! It’s no wonder this company caught my eye. Recycled Brooklyn creates made to order furniture pieces from reclaimed and recycled materials. I love the freestanding mirrors and coffee tables made from salvaged floor beams. But, I think my favorite piece is their throw pillow made from recycled coffee bags. (The bags come from independent coffee houses right there in Brooklyn!) They also use these coffee bags as upholstery on benches and bar stools. Some of their pieces even come with an NYC transit map noting where its various parts were salvaged.
