I came across this dreamy white bedroom with bright red rug yesterday and it instantly stole my heart. This is a look I would love to have for my own bedroom. I’ve always been a huge fan of red and black accents. Combine that with my current obsession with white interiors and this bedroom is just perfect for me! So, of course, I wanted to create a mood board showing how I would put my own spin on this gorgeous look. Here’s what I came up with.
Of course, the walls, ceiling and trim will be white. Then, I found a bright red oriental rug for the key color piece in the room. The floors below the rug will be a charcoal slate-look tile. I wanted to create the mix-and-match pattern look on the bed. So, I found a medallion fabric and coral print fabric to make custom pillow covers. The rest of the bedding will be white with an ivory fringed throw to soften up the look. Oh, I forgot to mention. The main furniture pieces are a white post bed and rustic ivory nightstand. Black and white photography and warm brown accent pieces complete the look.

The paint palette for this look is really pretty with it’s coral reds, charcoal grays and ivory whites. The hint of warm brown makes it even better!
