I came across this Mummy chair the other day and instantly fell in love with it. It’s an unexpected twist to a standard wood dining chair. The ‘fabric-wrapped’ look really softens up the piece and adds a pop of color too. These would go great in an industrial-style loft space to balance out all the hard surfaces with a stunning contrast. Add a fabric wrapped light fixture and some live plants and you’re good to go. I’m bummed my budget can’t handle the price tag on these beauties. So, I’m thinking of a homemade version I could try with a salvaged chair and some ribbon from the craft store. Well, I’m off to scour the local thrift shops. Wish me luck!
