I just love a vintage living room with white walls. It’s the perfect combination of white modern and eclectic Bohemian, don’t you think? Throw in a hot pink rug as the focal point in the room and I’m in heaven. This design, by Hannah of Loom + Kiln, is packed with beautiful pieces that really give this space a curated look. Let’s take a closer look at all of the details that come together to make this room so fantastic.
Of course, white painted walls are a must paired with french oak flooring in a light tan color. Then comes the pink vintage rug we talked about earlier. Something with some black and peach accents and a diamond pattern would coordinate well with this look. For the furniture, a tan leather sofa and Moroccan pouf add warmth to the color palette and a white garden stool and modern coffee table add a stylish place to put your drink down. For additional seating, a safari chair and woven seat chair set are arranged around the sofa.
With the furniture arrangement worked out, now it’s time for the styling to ramp up the character in the room. A sheepskin pillow and natural sheepskin throw add softness and mudcloth and kilim pillows bring interesting textures into the mix. The finishing touches that complete the look include a round mirror, black fiber wall hanging and tripod floor lamp.
These are the pieces I used to create the vintage living room mood board above…
