PANTONE FLAME

Bright red is a timeless classic. It may fall out of favor for a short time but it always makes a powerful comeback. So, I wasn’t surprised to see a bold version of this color on the Pantone 2017 Spring Fashion Color Report. They call it Flame. A great name for an awesome color! This hue has been a personal favorite of mine since I was a kid. So, I can’t wait to see more of this color popping up in the marketplace. Let’s take a look at some ideas for incorporating this passionate red into your home and fashion looks…

‘Flame’ also looks fantastic on painted wood pieces such as consoles and accent tables. The background wallpaper in this hutch really makes this piece unique.

Now, this is the look for me! A white bedroom with black accents and a flaming, bright red rug. Gorgeous!

This is also the look for me! Bright red pumps with a pair of boyfriend jeans. It just doesn’t get any better than this!!!

‘Flame’ can turn an ordinary door into a work of art. Add black hardware and gray trim to make the look complete.

Or, maybe you’re rather not commit such a large piece to this color trend. No problem, go with textiles, throws and pillows in ‘Flame’ instead. I really like this striped Mexican textile I found on Etsy…

Here’s a great example of a classic design using ‘Flame’ red. This particular shade of red pairs well with dark wood tones. Anybody else love this arched wood door? So cool!
