Oh, how I’ve always dreamed of a large, glamorous dressing room with all the amenities. A simple walk-in closet won’t do. Oh, no. This room needs to be bigger than that, with some sort of seating arrangement and elbow room for miles. I’ve always been a practical girl so, these kinds of dreams rarely make it to reality for me. But, this time might be different. We recently bought a house with a HUGE master bedroom closet. This sucker is big enough to be it’s own bedroom. And, the practical side of me would turn it into a bedroom but guess what? I can’t! You have to walk through our master bathroom to get to this closet so there’s no other practical use for this space than as a closet. And, it’s way too large to be just any old closet so, I get a dressing room! Now, all I have to do is style it into my dream space.

Some built-in storage is a must for my new space. I really love how classy this look is with the white cabinet doors with black details and brass pulls…
I picture my new dressing room being mostly white to show off all the colors of my wardrobe. Oh, and a center island for laying out outfits is a must!
Good lighting is also a must. In addition to the decorative pendant light, I would also like to have some hidden cove lighting in the shelves and cubbies so the whole space just ‘glows’…
