Vintage fabric is all the rage right now. It’s a design trend that I personally love and want to see more of. Yesterday, I showed you the color palette for this look in my Copper and Blue post. But, today I’d like to take a closer look at the design elements that make up this look and show you how the magic is made, so to speak.
This pillow set was inspired by the recent bedroom redo of Brittany of The Vintage Rug Shop. I always love her style and was particularly smitten with her color palette for this design, not to mention the beautiful vintage fabric. Two of the pillows from this set are actually from her shop. Unfortunately, the charcoal gray mudcloth one is no longer available. This makes me sad. It’s a unique color that I haven’t seen anywhere else. If anyone finds something similar, please let me know!
But, it isn’t just this one pillow that makes the whole design so great. The copper and blue combination of the faded indigo mudcloth and the copper brown kilim pillow provide a pop of accent to the look. Then, textured neutrals are added with the ivory quilt and light tan sheepskin throw. Everything you need to style a cozy bed for your room.
These are the pieces I used to create the pillow set mood board above…

Look out Pinterest, here we come! Here’s a tall pin-worthy version of this mood board to share with all your Pinterest pals. Don’t worry, I didn’t forget the paint palette.

White, ivory, light tan, slate blue, copper brown, charcoal gray and light gray really bring this design to life…
