Pink and green color palettes have been a love of mine for a while. There’s just something about the sassy nature of the combination, especially when it’s a blend of hot pink and earthy greens. This photograph of a blooming garden by Anneli Marinovich is the perfect example of this. The bubblegum pink blooms of the tree balance perfectly with the dark green and sage green foliage. And, the whole arrangement really ‘pops’ against the blush pink wall in the background. My favorite part of the look is the aqua blue shutter doors behind the tree. Or, would you call that a turquoise blue?
I would recommend this look to anyone searching for a feminine color palette for their next project. The pink and green combo is actually a very popular color scheme right now which makes it perfect for the trend setters out there.
Let’s have another quick review of the colors that make this palette so great. Bubblegum pink and blush pink are balanced by a dark green and sage green combo. Then, a splash of aqua blue is added with white used to taste. How much white you choose will depend on how saturated you want the color scheme of your project to be.
I’m definitely going to file this palette away in my Pretty Color Palettes folder. How about you? Is this a palette you would like to use in a project?
