So, how do you create a coastal style interior with modern flair? It’s actually easier than you might think. The ‘Casually Classy’ look is perfect for anyone in love with the crispness of white interiors (Me!). To recreate this design, start with white painted walls and trim with a dark brownish-black wood floor. Add some natural wood furniture and woven, natural fiber pieces as well. Reclaimed wood is a good choice to add lots of texture and character to your home. Now for the color. Layer various shades of blues in throw pillows and wall art. A combination of sky blue and indigo will be perfect for this look. Indigo dyed mudcloth pillows are a great choice as well as other geometric prints. Then, finish off the look with tiny amounts of black accents and you’re done. This design features one of this year’s popular color trends, Pantone Marina.
Here are the pieces I used to create the ‘Casually Classy’ inspiration board…
1.Shibori Diamonds Pillow | 2. Geometric Circle Pillow | 3. Blackened Brown Wood Flooring | 4. Trestle Table | 5. Woven Seat Stool | 6. White Plank Flooring
Of course, I had to put together a mood board with the paint palette for even more inspiration…

If you want just the paint palette, I’ve got you covered too…
