Cow themed wall art in a modern space? I’ve never really grouped the two together. But, lately I keep coming across these cow themed prints in modern interiors. When done properly, I love the impact it can have on a space.. The highland cow closeups are what really seem to catch my eye. They’re beautiful animals and the textures and colors of their fur translate nicely in photographs. Below are some of my favorite cow prints and some ideas for incorporating them into an interior space.
This brown Highland cow painting has a great color palette and the artist has done a wonderful job bringing out the texture of the animal’s fur.

Even simple black and white photos of Highland cows capture the textures in the fur.

A calf print is a great choice for a nursery. Choose a black and white print and them place it on a colorful wall. I love the combination of this duck egg blue wall and the white accents in the room.

This is one of my favorites. The dusting of snow on the animals fur is a nice touch.

This interior feeds my recent craving for white interiors. The space has such a soft, pretty palette. And, the bold pop of black accent from the cow print fits in perfectly with this design.

Choosing a cow print with a white background is the way to go for more of a modern feel. The caramel brown color of this cow’s fur is beautiful.

We’ve seen this little guy before. This time he’s hanging out in a white bedroom space with pale grays, black, brass and lush green accents.

This one makes me smile. I think it would work well in a collection with the posterior view piece we already look at.
