Teal. Oh, how I love teal! This is a color that I just never get tired of. I love it as an accent color in a room, like on a fun throw pillow or accent chair. But, it also works beautifully as the primary color of a room, like on the walls. Which brings me to today’s roundup…teal wallpaper! If you’re looking for a tranquil color to create a restful oasis in your home, this just might be the design element for you.
This much-loved blue green color goes great in many design styles. From traditional to modern, it fits right in. That’s something I really like about teal. It reminds me of some of my most favorite eras in design. It was a popular color in art deco design and I love me some art deco. Then again it popped up during the heyday of mid-century modern design. That one’s a timeless classic that you still see in use today. Even Bohemian and eclectic styles embrace the alluring tranquility of teal.
So, no matter your interior style, teal wallpaper could be a great fit. I’ve found so many gorgeous patterns in this calming color that I can’t wait to show you. So, let’s get started!
These are the Items I Included in the Mood Board Above:

Now, there are different ways you could go about incorporating wallpaper into your room. Some like to use it on all the walls which could be a more dramatic approach, depending on how bold your pattern is. Another popular way to go is to use the wallpaper on an accent wall in the room with the rest of the walls being a solid painted color. I tend to like this approach but, it really depends on the style of the room and the wallpaper pattern you go with.
Once you choose where you want to use wallpaper in your home, then all you have to do is pick the style you want to use. Here are some ideas for you with a roundup of the most beautiful patterns I could find.
1. Teal Wood Look Wallpaper
I really like this combo. It adds a fun pop of color to this classic wood texture. For a more rustic look, go with a distressed, reclaimed wood pattern. Or, choose a more subtle grain if you want a traditional or modern style. A chevron pattern perhaps?
2. Teal Floral Wallpaper
This is where things can get really gorgeous. Pairing a pretty floral wallpaper with teal green. The combination is next level! You could add small amounts of teal to your walls with a teal floral print on a white background. That look is so beautiful! Or, ramp up the mood of your room with a dark teal background instead.
3. Teal Striped Wallpaper
This calming color fits in well with beach themed styles, especially when you lean towards the teal blue side of things. Use this color with a horizontal striped wallpaper to mimic the waves, clouds and horizon line of the beach. Or, go with a vertical stripe for more of a driftwood vibe.
4. Teal Geometric Wallpaper
There are some really fun patterns in this group. The geometric designs, combined with the teal, are perfect for art deco, mid-century modern and Bohemian style interiors. I just love the structure of a good geometric print.
5. Teal Grasscloth Wallpaper
Sometimes you just don’t want a bold print on your walls, I get it. Something subtle is more what you’re looking for. In cases like this, I would recommend a grasscloth wallpaper. This pattern adds a little texture to your walls with a slight, linear pattern. It’s a very classy look that fits in with any design style.
6. Teal Abstract Wallpaper
Another option along the same lines as grasscloth is abstract wallpaper. These styles are all about the texture! They often have undertones of other colors in the print which is a great way to incorporate more accent colors to the room. If you don’t want a solid painted wall, but don’t want an in-your-face pattern, this might be the solution for you.
Well, that about wraps up my teal wallpaper roundup. I hope you’ve enjoyed the collection I put together for you and maybe even found one you’d like to try in your own project. Happy Designing!
