It’s a pretty day here at Concepts & Colorways. And, I’m not talking about the weather with the hurricane barreling right for us. It’s this gorgeous guest bedroom from Monika HIbbs that I’m referring to. I’m in love with the pink and gold color palette and the bright and airy style of this room.
It’s just the kind of place I would want to be waiting for me as my home away from home. The accent colors are so inviting against the light grey and white walls and the subtle print on the wallpaper adds even more to the airy quality.
Then, things get colorful with a golden yellow toned rattan bed and blush pink flowers on the nightstand. Black and white pillows in a floral print add a bold focal point to the white bedding. It’s a subtle detail, but the small print on the sheets really adds to the beauty of this look as well.
But, really it’s the finishing touches that take this style to a whole new level. The piece of cut grapefruit, the yellow flowers and the light taupe tones of the wall art create a feast for the eyes. Seriously, my eyeballs are having so much fun taking in all these beautiful details. It all comes together so well in one of the prettiest color palettes I’ve seen in a while.
So, what do you think? Are pink and gold color combos stealing your heart like they are mine? How would you use these colors in an interior design?
