I just love the bold contrast of a black and white bathroom. It’s clean and refreshing yet, striking and fun. So, it’s no wonder that this lovely bathroom caught my eye. It was the black and white tile that I noticed first. But, then the tiny bits of pink and yellow accent really closed the deal for me.
It’s such a small amount of color but, that’s all it takes to make a statement. The yellow flowers and yellow striped towel are balanced perfectly by the blush pink labels on the cleanser bottles.
These small touches of bright accent color strike the perfect balance with the white shiplap walls, white vanity cabinet and white marble countertop. The black door to the room is a nice touch, adding to the retro feel to the space.
These are the pieces I used to create the Black and White Bathroom mood board above…
1. Yellow Striped Towels | 2. Kin Tealight Holders | 3. Cement Tile
Of course, this look would not be complete without the rest of the design details. A glass globe wall sconce design in a brushed nickel finish, with matching towel ring, adds a sophisticated touch to the walls. And, a bamboo mirror with golden yellow undertones completes the look. I substituted the blush pink labels with a tealight holder in a matching color.
1. Wall Sconce | 2. Kin Tealight Holders | 3. Bamboo Mirror | 4. Yellow Billy Button Flowers | 5. Mason Jar Flower Vase | 6. Tricorn Black Paint | 7. Carrara Marble | 8. Cement Tile | 9. Cortland Vanity Base | 10. Antique Brass Doorknob | 11. Waterfront Towel Ring | 12. Yellow Striped Towels
The color palette for this design is a pretty mix of black and white, ochre, bright yellow, blush pink and stone gray.
