I just love rustic designs with a ‘pop’ of bright color. The ‘Magnolia Frolic’ palette is all that and more so, naturally, I love it! I’m especially drawn to the turquoise and chartreuse accents with just the slightest touch of hot pink. Lovely! Of course, I had to develop an interior mood board for this awesome look. Here’s what I came up with…
The foundation of this design is a gray-brown herringbone wood floor. Layer this with a mint green rug to bring out the pale green color of the plate. For the walls, go with a combination of clear glass mosaic tiles and light brown grasscloth wallpaper. Then, finish off the look with a collection of rattan, ivory, chartreuse, turquoise, hot pink and gray furniture and decor pieces. To really pull this look off, keep the bright colors as accents and focus on the natural, wood tones for the larger surfaces.
