I just love it when two opposing design styles come together in a way that is absolutely freakin’ awesome! This white modern bathroom design is so clean lined and sleek. Then along comes the most gorgeous of vintage rugs to shake things up with it’s classic pattern and texture. Its got my that excited I may even risk getting exploding shower doors next, but we’ll have to see. We’ll take a closer look at all the design elements that bring this look together later in the week. But, for now, let’s dive a little deeper into the jaw-dropping color palette.
This is a white bathroom, so naturally we’re going to see a lot of white in the palette. It’s a bit of a chalky white with warm undertones that pairs beautifully with the dove gray accents in the white marble tile. You also catch a glimpse of it in the striped towels adorning the room. This covers the primary colors in the palette which would actually be pretty bland on their own. But, luckily the vintage rug won’t have any of that and just had to wow us with it’s golden yellow, ochre and light peach tones. I’m a sucker for bold pops of color so this look is a personal favorite of mine.

Are you a fan of all the vintage rugs that are popping up in the design world lately? *I’m raising my hand and waving it frantically right now* I don’t think I would be as fond of them in traditional interiors but when you put them in a clean, modern space. That’s when I’m in heaven!
