Today’s color trend is one of my personal favorites. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve used this color in a project. I would describe it as a dark bronze or, maybe a dark brown, warm black or brownish-black. Sherwin Williams calls it Sealskin and it’s part of their 2017 Colormix color forecast. This color is perfect for industrial style and modern interiors. I’ve also seen it used a lot in rustic designs. Let’s have a look at some great design ideas that feature ‘Sealskin’, shall we?

‘Sealskin’ is the dominant color of this rustic style home office. I love the contrast of the white accents against this dark bronze color. The snow scene photography goes great with this look.

The dark bronze throw blanket adds a touch of warmth to the cool tones of this bedroom design. I love the contrast between the white bedding and the dark accent wall. So nice!

‘Sealskin’ also works well as tiny accents in brighter looks. This rustic wood box centerpiece adds a pop of color to this white reception table design. So pretty!

Be still my heart! The dark accent wall, the starburst chandelier, the white patterned rug, I love all of this! But, my favorite part of this look has got to be the dark bronze metal chairs. So nice!
